High Quality Offset Printing

Although we continually evaluate alternative print technologies, Allegheny remains committed to time proven offset printing to satisfy the discriminating needs of our many retail and other market savvy customers. The speed, vibrant color range and intricate level of detail, makes offset printing an ideal solution for plastic print applications. By focusing our resources on refining the systems, technology and processes to efficiently combine smaller quantity production runs, Allegheny has effectively expanded the economic order range of offset printed plastic products.

Screen Printing 

We offer custom screen print applied metallic and pearlescent inks for a brilliant, glistening effect. Clear inks can be applied to precise areas for a raised surface glossy or matte highlight, or to create a writeable surface. Consider scented, glow in the dark and fluorescent inks to create a unique design impact.

Allegheny offers a variety of plastic substrates including standard white and recycled PVC, as well as colored and full face foil core stock. We use hydraulic hot lamination presses to bond overlay material and create a protective glossy, matte or satin finish. For a less expensive alternative, we offer a non-laminated, liquid coated UV cured product.

Our custom paper gift cards use a high quality rigid engineered paper substrate that mimics the look and feel of plastic while offering an environmentally friendly biodegradable card solution. Allegheny offers a wide range of FSC certified paper substrates such as NEENAH IMAGEMAX® and the MONADNOCK ENVI CARD that is now available with 100% PCW recycled fiber.

Paper gift cards are available with the same custom printing options as plastic including spot gloss and foil coatings, scratch panels, bar codes, and signature panels.

Allegheny has made significant investments in high quality steel (“hard”) tooling to produce a wide range of durable, laminated die cut configurations to facilitate your sales and marketing programs. Our products feature smooth edges and flat surfaces with precise scoring for clean break away elements, such as a key tag or coupon.  If one of the following configurations is not quite right for your application, we can custom design a unique shape for you.

Custom hot stamped foil or security hologram. 

Ultra-Violet ink is invisible in normal light, but when held underneath a black light the ink is clearly visible. Ultra-Violet ink may be used to enhance your design or to print a security image. 

Micro-print is a commonly used security feature. What may appear to be a straight solid line is actually very fine text. Close inspection with magnification will reveal the text, making it very difficult to copy.
